5 Reasons You Should Book A Professional Wedding Photographer

When you begin planning your wedding, friends and family will want to help as much as possible. Someone with a relatively expensive camera may even offer their services and time, free of charge. So why should you book a professional wedding photographer? Here are 5 reasons.

Experience

Experience comes in two forms; the experience your wedding photographer has, and the experience they give you on your wedding day.

A professional wedding photographer will have experience of working at past weddings. They’ll know how the timeline works, where to be and when, and how to react quickly in any situation. They’ll be able to work with difficult lighting situations to capture your day perfectly.

Hiring a professional also means you’ll get a seamless experience while being photographed. The group shots will run smoothly, you’ll be comfortable when getting in and out of poses and being photographed won’t feel like a chore.

Planning of an Amalfi Coast Wedding

The wedding of Hannah and James took place in a beautiful old town, nestled high on a cliff, overlooking the dramatic views of the stunning amalfi coast.

The minute they saw the pictures of the venue, they knew it was the perfect place for them.

Myself and the bridal party arrived on location two days before the wedding. The appointment for the declaration of marriage was booked for the next morning and the hair trials and manicures were arranged for the afternoon. The couple had booked a beautiful, traditional villa with terraces for eating alfresco and incredible views. It was set away from the bustle of the town and gave them all a chance to relax and unwind. This was for themselves and their close family to stay in for the lead up to the wedding day and the families would continue their holiday here after the wedding, while the couple had arranged a mini moon in a different location.

Utilise the space you are given

Many directories offer a full page to your business, so use it! A good guide to word count is a MINIMUM of 300 words. Many SEO experts have differing ideas on the ideal word count for Google to 'pick up' (and of course, their algorithms can change) but between 300 and 600 words is generally seen as good. These seem to be popular with Google, they like words!

Images

Check how many images you are allowed to have (Tie The Knot Wedding Directory offers up to 5 for each listing) . Make sure you add as many as you are allowed. We add a link to EACH of your images back to your listing, to help more people to find you.

A good idea is to use the name of your company in at least one of your images (s…
