Planning of an Amalfi Coast Wedding

The wedding of Hannah and James took place in a beautiful old town, nestled high on a cliff, overlooking the dramatic views of the stunning amalfi coast.

The minute they saw the pictures of the venue, they knew it was the perfect place for them.

Myself and the bridal party arrived on location two days before the wedding. The appointment for the declaration of marriage was booked for the next morning and the hair trials and manicures were arranged for the afternoon. The couple had booked a beautiful, traditional villa with terraces for eating alfresco and incredible views. It was set away from the bustle of the town and gave them all a chance to relax and unwind. This was for themselves and their close family to stay in for the lead up to the wedding day and the families would continue their holiday here after the wedding, while the couple had arranged a mini moon in a different location.

Utilise the space you are given

Many directories offer a full page to your business, so use it! A good guide to word count is a MINIMUM of 300 words. Many SEO experts have differing ideas on the ideal word count for Google to 'pick up' (and of course, their algorithms can change) but between 300 and 600 words is generally seen as good. Take a look at this listing from Fabio Zardi for inspiration

Check how many images you are allowed to have (Tie The Knot Wedding Directory offers up to 5 for each listing) . Make sure you add as many as you are allowed. We add a link to EACH of your images back to your listing, to help more people to find you…

So, before you sign any contracts, sit down with your partner and create a detailed budget so you both know exactly what you have to spend. You don’t want to end up arguing over something that is meant to be the best day of your life, so your budget needs to include everything from the shoes, gratuities if applicable, bonbonnieres, accommodation, power if you are having your wedding/reception outside etc

2. Select Your Guests

The number of guests you have dict…
