Weddings can be stressful, so at The Lakes by Yoo, we have opted to provide a relaxed, informal environment which allows you as a couple the freedom to create your wedding celebration in a way that best suits you.
Weddings with us can be booked any day of the week. Day one, is the move-in day, which is when all your suppliers can come in to decorate and prepare for the big day. Typically, on this evening there is a welcome dinner party for your family and bridal party which can be hosted in the Manor House’s beautiful open plan kitchen and dining area, or outside on the terrace or The Reserve House. Saturday would then be your day of celebrations with all your guests. You may have opted to have the legal ceremony prior to arriving at the Lakes, or you could marry in the church in the local village of Southrop. Alternatively, you may opt for a humanist blessing ceremony at The Lakes. Your celebrations would then typically take place in a marquee in the grounds of The Manor House, overlooking the beautiful sailing lake and countryside. On Sunday, you may like to have a brunch or a BBQ lunch or Pool party with your guests at The Manor House before the décor comes down and you all start to prepare to leave The Lakes, after a weekend you will never forget.
Located on the extended part of the Estate, The Manor House offers exclusive use with stunning lake views. This beautiful five-bedroom Cotswold’s stone home with private swimming pool and jacuzzi. It boasts 5 exquisitely designed spacious bedrooms with a traditional yet cosy feel, and 4 luxurious ensuite bathrooms. For the rest or your wedding party, we have additional lakeside homes, cabins, and suites, so there’s plenty of room for the whole ‘I do’ crew to sleepover in luxury.
