Hi there, my name is Martin Turner and I am a Humanist Wedding Celebrant conducting legal weddings throughout Scotland since 2013. I have conducted weddings on boats on Loch Ness and Loch Lomond, in castles and hotels, garden weddings and on beaches throughout the country. Located in a quiet side street in Kensington is The Couture Gallery, Boutique and Atelier of Danish designer Britta Kjerkegaard, famed for her show-stopping one-of-a-kind couture wedding dresses and bridal gowns.
Britta’s signature figure-enhancing corsetry, voluminous tulle gowns and floor-sweeping silk dresses offer a fresh approach for the modern couture bride. Features include delicate French laces, intricate embellishments and hand crafted silk flowers accompanied by striking headpieces and veils.
All wedding dresses are created at the in-house Atelier by Britta and her team, which enables the designer to meet her clients’ needs and wishes throughout, resulting in a truly unique gown for each individual bride.
