Here’s a bit more about my story:
Having always been fascinated with fashion, textiles, and formalwear, I began my dressmaking career studying Art and Design in Devon before studying at the prestigious Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance as a Theatre and Costume designer.
After graduating, I worked in London and across the UK as a designer, seamstress, wardrobe manager, and dresser for stage and screen.
When I became engaged to my husband, I knew I wanted to use my experience to create my own wedding dress – what I didn’t know, however, was how I would discover a burning passion for designing and creating wedding dresses, formalwear and bridalwear.
My own wedding was the springboard for me to adapt the skills and experience I have gained through my creative career into the creation of Eloise Rose Design.
Like many dressmakers I have a vast wealth of knowledge in traditional and contemporary fashion, however my unique journey to Eloise Rose Design allows me to take inspiration from my extensive exposure to film, television and theatrical history, conventions, styles and ideas.
My goal is to create exceptional quality bridalwear and formalwear that accentuates you as a person, captures your unique personality and represents everything incredible about you on the days where you deserve to be in the spotlight!
